As always, we had a wonderful time at the Con!!!

And, as always, one of the highlights of the occasion was to meet and greet our wonderful Xena Family again !

The fun starts already on Thursday evening, with pre-registration and a peek at the merchandise that will be put for sale.

The day starts early on Friday, with the "Writers Workshop" (with Steven Sears and Paul Robert Coyle) and Hudson Leick's "Yoga Workshop".

Then, at 11:45, the main theatre opens and we get ready for the first guests and con main events.

This year, we had the pleasure of the company of two new guests - jacqueline Kim and tony todd!  Jacqueline was at a convention many years ago, but it's ages since she graced us with her lovely presence!  And Tony was a "con virgin" - never been with us before! 

Sharon and Adam welcome us to the  IV Anniversary Con!           

 One of the highlights of the day for us was that Joolz's music video entry for this year was again a winner.  Here is the moment she received the prize from Adam's hands, and was getting ready to explain what her video was all about.

 The Canberra Xena Gang had also sent a video for the contest; however, we were told by Adam that, although it was a winner, they did not have time to show it during the con time.  we got the prize, but sadly did not have the pleasure of watching our music video on the big screen.  If you want my opinion, they could've squeezed it somewhere, but did not want to, in order not to dampen the con happy mood - it's a very sad and powerful video!  check it out on the music videos link above as well; but keep some Kleenex handy.

 Then we had a "Tribute and Remembrance" video to honor our beloved KEVIN SMITH.

 But Steve is not really a guest; he's a con fixture!  part of the Family!  I can't remember a con he hasn't been to.  And, for those who don't know, he dares us to manage to take a picture of him and keeps walking and moving on stage.  So, the best way to photograph him is when he's busy photographing others - see last pic below...

  Fourth and Last Guest of the day, and one we were all looking forward to meet!!!

 Then we left the hotel to go to Lucy's show at The Roxy (first night).
