Like I said on the update, this is just a selection of the best ones;

When we grow up, we'd like to be like Ausxip... :)

The Centerpiece Group: Lara, Barb, Jackie, Joolz, Leila and Ann
“Xena Unites The World”. That’s the theme of our centerpiece. It means that, without Xena, we would never have met, a group of people from different sides of the globe. It’s an homage to our friendship and to fans all over the world. The group is composed by Ann, Jackie and Barb from the US, Joolz and Lara from the UK (Lara also representing Canada, since she was born there) and Leila & The CXGang (Brazil and Australia). The title is written in English and Greek (Pany’s courtesy) on the top of the two arches that “cover” it. The centerpiece depicts Xena and Gabby’s travels around the world, when they “visited our countries and hometowns”. The base is the world (and we had no queries making it flat, since those two travelers believed it was), the black lamé material surrounding it and covering the arches represents the sky/the cosmos. Xena and Gabby’s footsteps can be seen all over the map, going from one town to the other. On each location stands a flag and from it a ribbon leads to a tableau depicting that particular town or country (each member contributed with tiny little things that would stand for their home-town). Hanging near the tableaus, down the side of the base, there are “Gabby scrolls” telling people about X and G adventures in that particular town (each of the group members had their ideas developed into short-stories, which were then written on the mini-scrolls). Tidbits and details: 1) There are little stars hanging down from the arches depicting a.. um… dipper… or is it a bear? < :D > 2) Xena, Gabby and Argo are wearing a purple armband each < :D > (although it seems Xena has lost hers on the close-up pic) ; 3) there are stickers of all countries they visited on Argo’s saddlebags and a “Xenites for the Greater Good” bump-sticker on Xena’s and Gabby’s blanket-roll; 4) the scrolls are all unique (no doubles), made of parchment, model-sticks and tiny beads glued to one another and to the sticks; 5) the first sentence of all the stories (the “I sing the song of…” ones) are all in Greek as well (Pany’s courtesy nr. 2); 6) each member of the group took home her town’s scroll as a souvenir; 7) our plans to get rid of the base after the con had to be put aside, when the guests at the dance party started signing and jotting comments on it. Ann’s got it now.
